I tried to plan for summer, my kids being home, bu

I tried to plan for summer, my kids being home, business being slow (why does it seem slow during the summer? Is it me?) limited time, vacations, etc.

I failed on that one miserably.

My birthday is tomorrow. I’m going to be 44. This is not the life I pictured at 24, but not in a bad way. It’s just different. But I feel like I haven’t figured out what I want to do when I grow up.

Luckily my #adhd makes me an exceptional problem solver so I’ll be ok. I am working on some awesome trainings and such. It will be fine.

but today? I just want to lay here.

Ok Hive, here’s the scoop on my little life. Every single thing has broken or stopped working or been difficult.

My phone has randomly stopped taking pictures front ir back. That also means no Face ID so I have to remember my master password for Last Pass to do anything. I have adhd and can’t remember crap, so it’s not my favorite.

I’ve had issues with my website twice and both times were frustrating and time consuming - but I fixed it. So there’s that, I guess.

Summer is slow for the clients I love working with the most, so work has been slow - not that it matters because the kids are home and someone is always hungry, fighting, bored, or sick.

I had great intentions for June and wanted to meet July with gusto but unfortunately I’m just limping through. Or visually, imagine it looking like that crazy alien ride at Disney.

Anyway, I’m back. I hope.

Today I talked a friend of my husband out of paying $4k for a course to teach him marketing.

I read a post in a marketing group in which a lovely entrepreneur invested $15k in sales coaching only to find out the tactics they taught were borderline spammy.

I read a Threads thread about a coach reselling other people’s content - available for free elsewhere - to struggling authors.

It should be illegal but it’s not , so I beg you friends, do your due diligence! Not all training is created equally.
